So what danger did I bring for me to mess this up so bad?
Why can’t you trust me, was I really just that mad?
Throw away the key, to the cell I’d lock myself to
Rip away from the hordes that threw me to the wolfs.

Tear me away from Grace the place I would call home
Drowning in the build-up that would lead him from his throne
The wall once built for safety was thrashed to the ground
As the hope I once knew my fall they would surround

Years gone by scars remain to grow from the ashes I create
Wonder how I redeem those days that destroyed this mental state
But the soul remains cracked and the ashes black like coal
Like flies to the light it swallows me up whole
